About Me

Welcome to My Kitchen!


I approach cooking with an emphasis on friends, fun and wine. I love to share my  seasonal dishes with our private reserve wines. I am Rod Scott,  a graduate of The International Cooking School at the Art Institute of Tampa, FL.  and a Wine Consultant with Traveling Vineyard. When not in the kitchen, I am usually traveling around the globe or on my boat in the Tampa Bay with my wife and dog.

Food and wine are a natural together. I consider wine as a condiment to food. Just as ketchup compliments French fries, Cabernet Sauvignon compliments a beautiful Steak! Let us pair food and wine together for you to enjoy.

This is a Chef Charlie Trotter Filet Mignon with diced vegetables in a beef consomme and gnocchi.

I have been cooking for a long time, but that doesn't mean that you need a ton of cooking experience to follow my recipes.
